About
Who I am. Hi, I'm Jessica. I am an Instructional Designer and E learning developer with over 10 years of experience providing engaging and effective learning for children and adults. My background in Speech-Language Pathology and extensive work across multiple settings, allowed me to excel at finding unique ways to present content to learners of diverse backgrounds. I am an organized and detail-oriented individual that strives to create learning experiences that not only contribute to learner success, but solve functionality issues as well.
I know first hand how important it is to allow space for creativity, growth and how to effectively communicate ideas across different settings. Whether I’m performing a data analysis to execute decision making, planning out visually compelling designs or brainstorming with stakeholders, I am passionate and dedicated to the process. I believe that building authentic relationships sets the framework towards helping to bridge gaps in learning.
These are a few of the tools and skills I frequently use when developing content:

✔ Basic video editing
✔ Powerpoint / Google slides
✔ Word doc / Google doc
✔ Learning Management Systems (LMS)

In my spare time, you’ll find me shooting bits of life through the lens of a Nikon camera, designing various projects, or kicking back at a coffee shop.
